JUDGES AFFILIATION CLARIFICATIONS
02-05-2010
By

Due to the fact that our judging assigners do not
know what teams are participating in a meet, it is always the JUDGES
responsibility to know if the team they are affiliated with is at the
competition. It is best to let the assigner or meet referee know you are
affiliated as soon as possible for event assignments. If this does not happen
ahead of time, it is still the JUDGES responsibility to tell the meet referee
at the meet to have the other judge become head judge. This is not a new rule
and needs to be followed at all times for judges of all levels. If there is a
violation of this rule, the NAWGJ State
Judging Director should be notified and your Ethics Chairman.
